What are the definitions of RIBA Stages ?

“RIBA Plan of Work 2020, which clearly defines the responsibilities of the design team during each stage of a project:

Stage 3 (Spatial Coordination):
At this stage, the design team is responsible for ensuring the spatial layout meets all regulatory, operational, and coordination requirements.

Stage 4 (Technical Design):
At this stage, the design team must resolve all outstanding spatial and regulatory issues, delivering a fully coordinated and buildable design for construction.

It is explicitly the responsibility of the design team during these stages to ensure that the design complies with all regulatory standards and is spatially coordinated to function as intended during Stage 5 construction.

Stage 5 (Build)
This is for manufacturing and construction based on a fully coordinated and buildable design.

Revit and AutoCAD are all fully licensed. Fabrication (CADduct) Soon to become components, Microstation Licensed as required.

We Manage and Work on our projects with a varied team. 8-15 in-house teams, 10 - 20 Contracted Teams and 50 - 100 Outsourced resources that we have personally trained.
